John Hammond trained and studied at the Birmingham School Of Art and silversmithing in England. Whilst completing a six year apprenticeship John learned the art of Hand Engraving, from inscription and ornamental work, to heraldic engraving (seals, crests, coats of arms) as well as picture and portrait work etc.

He then set out to develop his art. Now with 50 years of engraving experience behind him John is know throughout Australia as a Master Engraver who enjoys doing all types of work.
